Description
46th Ave s is becoming very dangerous. Marina Walk apts, Starbucks, Tropical Smoothie and an urgent care on the south side of the street. Across the street McDonald's, the 3 story storage facility as well as all of the construction truckers from the new Marina Club apartments.
local traffic is heavy also as people blow right through stop sign on 37th St. There is no dividing line down the street and the light at 34th St is way too long
In a nutshell the road is not designed for all of this type of traffic. Accident happen frequently and it's only a matter of time before it's person.

I have found when something needs attention this way has been more effective then reporting to the city. So good luck!

People also fly down they short section. Usually to make the light. There need to be a speed bump. I flagged a lawn guy w huge truck trailer trying to get him to slow down. He floored it.
From our office we see many near misses

Thank you for submitting this SeeClickFix. I will put in a work order to have the double yellow stripe on 46th Avenue between 37th and 34th Street refreshed. Regarding the traffic light at 34th Street, please contact Ms. Julie Scanlon at the Florida Department of Transportation as this intersection is controlled by FDOT. Ms. Scanlon's email address is Julie.Scanlon@dot.state.fl.us.
