Thank you for contacting us. The location on Benjamin has been serviced by staff. Public Works staff will visit the location and fill potholes when reported. However, the overall condition of the pavement is such that it will be included on our list to evaluate for potential future street resurfacing. We are not able to give you a time frame for when this project might be done. We will be resubmitting this ticket as a pavement repair request, please understand we have your concerns captured.
Thank you for submitting your pothole repair request for Benjamin St. We understand the frustration about this street not being in good condition. Public Works staff have done their best to fill the deeper potholes with patching material. The various cracks and crumbling surfaces can’t be patched and will have to wait until Benjamin St. is resurfaced.
Benjamin St. is not scheduled for resurfacing this year but will be considered for the city’s annual resurfacing program moving forward. We understand the desire to resurface this road as soon as possible, however our resurfacing program works in a systematic way to make best use of resources and taxpayer funds while also minimizing disruptions to neighborhoods.
