Description
The apartment where I live is in the last floor(13th floor) I have two pipes one in the kitchen and one in the dinning room. This two pipes does not have valve to control the heat therefore it is too hot that I have to open the window to cooling the apartment. Once is 10pm no matter the weather the heat gets to be shut off. then in the bedroom gets cold. The heat needs to be normal and be to control it as it is in the bedroom and living room. The heater in the living room, and bedroom has valve so I can adjust the heat. I can not cook, a lot and we have to drink lots of liquid.

Hi Sonia,
These are the legal requirements for heating:
Between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, if the outside temperature falls below 55 degrees, the inside temperature must be at least 68 degrees Fahrenheit.
Between the hours of 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, if the temperature outside falls below 40 degrees, the inside temperature must be at least 55 degrees Fahrenheit.
If your heat falls below 55 degrees at night, please call 311. Also your building manager may be able to install valves in your kitchen to better control heat during the day.
