The burned out vehicle has been parked on the street for 14 days. It stinks and is a nuisance to the community. Looks as if the family has every intention of leaving it there since they threw a tarp over it.
When will this health issue be addressed? I have to walk my children pass this toxic mess everyday. Maybe we should call a news station to address the problem since Wake Forest doesn't seem to be willing to step in.
I went back out to the residence yesterday 1-22-15 to try to speak to the owner of the car.. I will try again on Monday to speak with someone to see if they are waiting on an Insurance agent to look at the car and to see if can be moved to driveway... I also applied another tow sticker to vehicle and will tow it on 1-29-15 if I cannot make contact with owner.. Considering the vehicle caught on fire makes the situation of moving it more difficult, however I will follow up on this until it is moved or towed.
Somewhat surprised tagging can be removed or ignored. A burned out vehicle left on the street is an eyesore and a handicap to home sales. In absence of HOA homeowners have responsibility to maintain aesthetics and give consideration to what maintains home values for everyone.
Contact was made with the owner of the vehicle... He advised that he has not been able to move it due to the fact the car cannot be shifted into gear... He advised it will be moved on Monday or at the latest on Tuesday...
