That's a great suggestion! I only thought to submit smaller ticket items, but I drive on Lewis between Alexis and Laskey frequently, and it's a mess.

I realize there's no tax money coming in from the three empty gas stations at Alexis/Lewis to put toward this, but the street quality has to have some effect on making those and other streetside locations into unattractive investments. Can we get some Chamber of Commerce money up in here?

Lewis Ave, between W Alexis Rd and W Laskey Rd, is on the 2023 Construction Project List. The road will be completely removed and rebuilt. New curbs and drainage will be added, and drive aprons will be replaced. New sidewalks will be added and pedestrian curb ramps will be added or replaced.
