The(2) no parking signs were just put up outside of our backyard which is perfectly fine, but they were installed waaay too high We should not have to look at the ugly signs above our wall from our backyard The are 7-8 ft tall when they should be 4-5 feet tall where we cannot see them from our back yard Please install them deeper/shorter ASAP Thank you!

The signs are installed at the regulation height which is in accordance with the Manual on Uniformed Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) national standards that the Town of Gilbert adheres to.
C - ROADSIDE SIGN IN BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL, OR RESIDENTIAL AREA
The minimum height, measured vertically from the bottom of the sign to the top of the curb, or in the
absence of curb, measured vertically from the bottom of the sign to the elevation of the near edge of the
traveled way, of signs installed at the side of the road in business, commercial, or residential areas where
parking or pedestrian movements are likely to occur, or where the view of the sign might be obstructed,
shall be 7 feet (see Figure 2A-2)
