Description
This section of Alameda Ave is not clearly marked as One Way only. I regularly attempt to turn from High St onto Alameda St (east to west), only to meet a car waiting on the Alameda-Oakport intersection, trying to turn onto Oakport/High.
There's a Do Not Enter sign on the other (northern) section of Alameda Ave, and a direction arrow on the ground, but those don't seem to be helping.

Thank you for posting this. The two way street ends suddenly, and its not clear to drivers that they must turn around. Confused drivers block traffic, cause the intersection to be blocked off by cars, while the drivers try to back slowly out of the one way lane. Some are so confused they refuse to back up, thinking the other driver is in the wrong.
On a related issue, large trucks (including 18 wheelers) regularly get stuck on the dead-end street (E 8th st) at this interesection. They then need to back out of that street and into oncoming traffic. There signs in this area are vandalized - bent or torn down.
Drivers should be warned all the way back at the intersection of Howard and Alameda, that going further down Alameda to the east is completley pointless.
