Description
This sign needs to be moved further south on Sycamore to where street parking is allowed (where the sign on the other side of the driveway is located), and a "no parking sign" needs to be put here. This is a simple fix that would take about ten minutes. As it is now, it is confusing, and someone parks in front of this sign (which is a no-parking zone) every day, making it difficult to make left turns from Ridgeland Avenue. It would be great for the curb to also be painted red. Please fix the problem before there is an accident, for which I suspect the city would be held liable since neighbors have been asking you to fix this since at least 2016.

Thank you for bringing this up again. As you said, this is a long term safety issue. Concerns have been brought to the city's attention by many residents through this reporting system and directly with city employees via email for at least 6 or 7 years now.
It is well past time for them to take action. Making the signage clear and painting the curb/shoulder needs to happen. I agree that there is a strong liability concern for the city when the inevitable accident occurs.
In Georgia, inadequate sightlines at intersections which result in an accident can result in municipal liability when the city responsible has been given adequate notice of the defect and has been in existence long enough to address the defect.
