We are so grateful for the decision to lower the speed limit on all of Piney Mountain Road to 25. That said, cars continue to drive well above the speed limit on parts of the road that are frequented by pedestrians and bikers. This was a problem before the Estes Road project, but it has gotten worse with more traffic on Piney Mountain. We need radar signs and/or speed bumps to slow people down on much of Piney Mountain Road. We have had scary incidents with speeding cars coming close to us while we have been out with our kids, running, and walking our dog.
