Thank you for reporting the damaged sidewalk. Please note: If the sidewalk is damaged by a county street tree the Howard County Bureau of Highways will repair the issue. If the damage is from normal wear and tear or ground settling then it is the responsibility of the resident or business that abuts the sidewalk. Sidewalks that are a tripping hazard will be patched and placed on the repair list. The current backlog for sidewalk repair is 15 months.
