This report has been forwarded to the Office of Veteran, Social & Homeless Services. Homelessness is not illegal. The City addresses homelessness and related social issues City-wide by utilizing a two-tiered philosophy of service referral followed by enforcement.
Our Police Department has a Street Outreach Team (PATH) that actively canvasses areas where the activities of the homeless are noticed, and they will continue doing so to ensure the safety of all citizens. Police Assisting the Homeless (PATH) non-emergency Homeless Hotline voicemail can be reached at 727-551-3783.
Please immediately report any criminal activity or safety concerns to the SPPD directly by calling 727-893-7780 if not an emergency or 911 if an emergency. Thank you.
We work closely with various City departments and local social service providers to address issues faced by our homeless population, and we also work with neighborhood associations to address the concerns they have, as well. Information may be found on this page of the StPete.org website:

Based on the description, this is a law enforcement issue and cannot be reported through SeeClickFix. Law enforcement issues (illegal parking, illegal dumping, noise ordinance violations, speeding, or any other illegal activities) need to be reported directly to the St. Petersburg Police Department by calling the Police Tip Line at 727-892-5000 or 727-893-7780 (for non-emergencies) or 911 (for emergencies ONLY).
As to the trash on the property, The address listed is Private Property and could be identified as a potential violation of municipal property code, and as such you will need to resubmit this report using the SeeClickFix category labeled ‘Codes Compliance’. You may also call your report to the Codes Compliance Department at 727-893-7373, either way, you will also be asked to provide your name and address.
The City can not investigate Code Compliance requests from anonymous sources. On June 29, 2021, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 60 into law which no longer allows code enforcement officers to investigate anonymous complaints. All code enforcement reports must include the complainant’s personal information including name and address.
The new law states, “A person designated as a code inspector may not initiate an investigation of a potential violation of a duly enacted code or ordinance by way of an anonymous complaint. A person who reports a potential violation of a code or an ordinance must provide his or her name and address to the governing body of the respective board of county commissioners before an investigation occurs.”
Please resubmit your SeeClickFix and include your name and address in the mandatory fields.
