Description

Is there a logical reason which includes driver safety for the explanation as to why this pedestrian crossing sign is placed on the yellow line at this location? I have seen it pegged off more than not. I am betting myself as to who will be the one to send it the furthest down the street. So far someone holds the record. Almost half way to 15 North Street.
Now for drivers safety, sign visibility is obscured driving west with the surroundings. The sky is white during the day, the sign is slightly on the crest of a small hill, tge sign is mostly white and the road is a main travel road like mostly every other road which do not contain unexpected obstructions in the middle of the road. I am sure that you can relate to all of a sudden a deer being there in the middle of the road and you have no time to react and you hit it.
This pedestrian crossing sign should find a new place on private or town property and not in the middle of a road’s crosswalk.
