Description
How come there is not a system in place to know when it has rained at Silverlake Park and possibly all of Tucson's city parks to know when it has rained for hours the night before the sprinklers are turned on the next day and so much water is wasted in the park where the ground iks already soaked from hours of rain ?
Has been the 3rd time I have seen this happen in the last month and this only the times I have gone to the park, probably happens every time it rains.
Who is in charge of the watering system in the City Parks ?

to a automated system in the near future and how much it cost. I know the water is reclaimed-non potable
but who knows what the future will bring where even this water will have to be purified as our supply goes
lower and lower as this 20+ year drought continues.
