For the requestor. We will go look at this. Do you know if this is still an issue? This actually turned out to be a complex issue and if not fixed, then we want to make sure it gets fixed asap.

Yes problem is still present.

I notified Veollia to inspect the curb box and valve.

We are working with the JCMUA, who contacted Veolia right away. As soon as the JCMUA works out what needs to happen with Veolia, we will then figure out next steps and make sure the sidewalk/driveway is in good condition again.

The property with the sidewalk defect is City property. FIRE ENGINE22 HOUSE

The Engineering Division will definitely be taking care of the sidewalk, we are just making sure that nothing needs to be done with the water valve before we instruct our on call concrete contractor to replace the sidewalk.

We will need to coordinate with the Fire Division and need to make sure we have everything done correctly so as not to have to tear up the concrete again to deal with the water valve. The JCMUA is helping us work this out.

You will see that we have patched the hole with the valve. We have done this to make sure it is not a tripping hazard. Next, the JCMUA will be evaluating it and when we get the go ahead, we will fix the valve and the sidewalk in conjunction with the fire house.
