Description

I'm letting you know that I'm having a difficult time crossing Pine Street.

Yesterday around 3:15PM, As a car allowed me to cross and I stood in the middle of Pine waiting, TWO cars sped by me in the other lane so fast that another man watching in a truck on Sears Lane began yelling at those cars speeding past. He then wished me a safe rest of my walk. Similar things have happened at the crosswalk near the Electric Company and the one across from Pizza 44. At least those two crossings have the flashing lights.

This isn't the first time this has happened across from Sears Lane. There is a crosswalk, but no flashing lights. I do see families on bikes, pushing strollers, elders and I worry about their safety as well as my own
