Description

Vegetation blocks view of northbound traffic, especially cars in the right lane, on Main St. The photo was taken on Lake Shore Dr from the driver's seat of an SUV. It's more of a problem in shorter sedans. In order to see oncoming traffic, vehicles must cross into the sidewalk -- which is also not visible enough from this vantage point -- putting pedestrians and bicyclists at risk.
