Large tree in front of my home 18 Fairmount Terrace is dangerously leaning towards the middle of the street. In addition, the large overgrown roots of the tree is lifting the concrete of the sidewalk causing an unsafe and uneven walking surface. The street gets heavy foot traffic due to the nearby St. Peter’s University student population & faculty staff & visitors. The tree is causing unsafe conditions & possibly falling onto oncoming traffic or onto a parked car or nearby homes. In order to avoid a foreseeable tragedy the tree needs to be removed & grind down the stump to sidewalk level. Anything that can be done to remedy this situation will be greatly appreciated.
