Description

There has been a recent change to the traffic light pattern at Macon Pond Rd and Blue Ridge Rd. This is not a good change during the morning commute. What typically takes 7 minutes to get from Glenwood Ave to Lake Boone Trail using Duraleigh/Blue Ridge now takes 15 minutes. The light isn't staying green long enough for the traffic coming on Duraleigh from Edwards Mill to make it through both the Blue Ridge and Macon Pond lights. It's making traffic back up past Edwards Mill. When it finally does turn green, the traffic coming from Blue Ridge at Crabtree all get to go through. The traffic coming from Edwards Mill is stuck sitting at the Blue Ridge/Duraleigh light and then the Macon Pond light. It's making traffic flow during the morning commute much more congested.
