Description
The timer at the Ethan Allen shopping center main exit onto North ave. has a very long wait built into it even during non-rush hour time-frames, leaving one to idle at that intersection to turn left for what seems to be 2-3 minutes. there is no sensor working if there was one.
Can this be timed more efficiently/ it is 2022 ! tons of infrastructure money too.....

Thanking you for taking the time to email us, See Click Fix is the best way to report concerns, unless it’s an Emergency then you should call the police department at (802) 658-2700.
All 4 directions at this intersection are controlled by vehicle detection which appears to be working correctly. The programing of this intersection provides preference to North Ave. but limits the cycle to 2 minutes, triggered by traffic approaching from this sides balanced against North Ave traffic. The total maximum wait time for a side street is practically about 2:30 (including transition time), but will be shorter during low volume times on North Ave.
I hope this makes sense. If you would like further detail on how this signal operates within the signal system along North Ave. we’d be happy to put you in touch with the DPW Technical Services team. They provide the phasing design and assessment for signals throughout the City.
