Wendell is used quite a lot for people to drive between Beacon St and Mass Ave, and people drive very quickly from Carver St onto Wendell taking that corner at higher speeds than is safe with pedestrians using the same streets. Some traffic calming measures on these roads would go a long way to improve pedestrian safety, and potentially dissuade people from driving down these residential neighborhoods and use the proper main artery roads instead.
