Description
Rosemont, south of 5th St. clear down to Broadway has really bad potholes. The potholes run the entire distance between 5th St. & Broadway and are worst in the southbound lane. N.Rosemont was resurfaced in the last few months, but for some reason they stopped before they got to 5th St. and it has been in bad condition for years, now it is worse.

I give up. This site is a waste of time and doesn't do any good at all so I am going to stop monitoring it. I think that "NT" & "Hank" said it best:
NT= "What does it really take to get this fixed? 25 people have voted to get this terrible road fixed & for every person who has voted there are MANY others who don't know about the option to vote on this particular issue number--or don't even know that they have this venue to voice their concern. Talk to your neighbors. Make call after call to the city. Literally HUNDREDS of people go down that stretch of road every day. It is a very busy street. Get the word out!"
Hank="Why should the city officials care? They aren't the ones who have to keep replacing their tires or struts. I bought new tire this week & thanked the city & Rosemont as I paid the bill."

@VH-
We're sorry to hear this issue has yet to be resolved and apologize that you didn't receive a prompt response. We appreciate you reaching out and using our site to publicly document these hazardous road conditions in your community. While SeeClickFix provides the technology, it's up to citizens like yourself and their local government to collaborate and get things done--holding everyone accountable for improving their environment.
When (and after) you report an issue, you can view who received email notifications about it by clicking on "Who Sees This Issue?" under the issue number/title. Have you thought about creating a "watch area" for the public works department (or whichever agency handles road hazards)? Watch areas serve as geographic boundaries within which an individual or department will be notified via email anytime an issue is reported or comment is made. You can easily create one by clicking here: http://seeclickfix.com/tucson-ward-6/watch_areas/map.
Similarly, have you thought about contacting your local media outlets? New organizations are an important part of the SeeClickFix ecosystem and can assist citizens when it comes to raising awareness about these issues. Oftentimes, media outlets can even lead to the ultimate resolution of reported issues through their news coverage. Again, we apologize for the delayed response and please don't hesitate to send any additional inquiries or feedback to contact@SeeClickFix.com!
Cheers,
Megan
