Description
Is an asphalt or paint asphalt finish the plan for the Rhone tennis courts? Why was asphalt chosen? The previous concrete surface was not in great condition, but likely would have been in better condition than the asphalt surface will be in a few years - even with the ~12" base the contractor put on top of the previous tennis court elevation.
The new asphalt surface is only 2" thick and now has tire/track imprints and a gouge (see attached picture) from the heavy equipment. Can this be repaired before accepting the job as completed?
