If this isn't a breeding ground for West Nile and EEE, I don't know what is. Mosquitoes coming out in full force, lots of kids living nearby - aside from a hideous eyesore, this is also a health hazard!

Swamp sidewalk in full effect, still...

Swamp sidewalk is super full and gross. Mosquitos in this area are unbelievably terrible. We have little kids who love here & tons of neighborhood kids who play on the cul de sac. It is a real health hazard.

3 years running... The swamp sidewalk is still an open issue.

Can someone from DPW/Streets please review this situation and provide public feedback here as to what kind of remedies are available? Perhaps note when this sidewalk is on the schedule for repair?

Wondering if this is on the fall fix schedule? It has been a really dry summer so the swamp hasn't been as bad as it has been most years, but it still needs to be fixed. It definitely doesn't help that the property management company who does yard work for the bank on this foreclosed property doesn't mow the green belt or trim back any of the vegetation that overhangs the swamp.

And The City wonders why its an us vs them mentality. Wish the City would acknowledge things, document it and follow through. Once again a BTV accountability issue.

Is this on the schedule to happen this year? Three years and counting (four if you count phone calls prior to see click fix). My driveway has been consistently marked by dig safe to the point it looks like graffiti. As this issue affects my driveway and the sidewalk directly in front of my house, the delay is preventing me from planning work on my property as well.

Can we get an update on this project please? The construction portal claims this is in the design phase yet it was scheduled to be completed last year.

Sidewalk on Billings Ct has been replaced and completed. The Department of Public Works has resolved this request. Thanks for helping to keep Burlington a great place to live and work.
