Description

It is great that there is a crosswalk here. However, it is way too short to cross this broad street, particularly for slower walkers like small children and older folks. The signage is not clear enough either. I frequently cross this street with my two small children and cars that want to turn either don't see us or are impatient for us to get across the street and it is unsafe. I am requesting an increase in the length of time allowed for crossing the street and more signage directing cars to be aware of pedestrians.
