I live in the new Grand Oaks development. When I purchased my house I was told the trees to the south of me would remain. They are being cut down. I'm not certain if they have a permit to cut down the trees, but I've been told that at least one property DID NOT have a permit to cut down the trees. The trees have obviously been there for years and are habitats for birds in the area. I'm upset that the trees are being taken down after they've been there for hundreds of years and not fallen. The apartment complex on the other side did not tear them down, why should this new development be able too?
