City of Decatur PLUS

There is a chicken coop and live chickens and rooster(s) present at this address and less than 50 feet from a multi family dwelling. There is also a small algae filled pond as well.

RV trailer parked for months in street. Blocks traffic and field of vision while driving around RV trailer.

I’m not sure if the playground at Adair park has reopened but in the last few days there have been many children and families enjoying the playground. If it’s open, remove the closed sign and if it’s closed maybe parents need to be more aware...lots of children there now.

We have noticed the presence of a new loud noise in
Decatur. ,,,Just east of Sycamore and Church on the north side of Sycamore is a fenced area (perhaps 10' x 30') from which a loud continuous noise is being emittedl. It sounds somewhat like a large industrial fan. When walking by on the sidewalk in front of it, I get a sound level of approx 80 dB, well above noise ordinance limits.

Please advise .

A tree was cut down this week on the west side of the Marlay parking lot between the lot and creek, and adjacent to the sidewalk. Was this permitted, and will it be replaced?

Cars are often parking in the no parking zone at the new MODA development. This happens during the day and also in the evening. Please enforce parking restrictions.

Noisy trash collection outside of former Taziki restaurant at 5am several times a week on Ponce De Leon Pl. Residential apartments are right above the collection, loud enough to wake. This same issue was helpfully resolved at the end of 2017 (thank you!) (https://en.seeclickfix.com/issues/3904979-code-violations), but the problem has started again. Appreciate any help!

Why are you archiving the numerous complaints about this lot and intersection from so many tax-paying citizens when the residents continue to refuse to clean up? All we want is for 222 Feld to be treated like all the other lots in Decatur and follow the city code. There are 5+ years of complaints about the same issues. Stop hiding the city's lack of action by archiving complaints that have NOT been resolved and ENFORCE the code, please. Nobody is above the law.
