Construction and BuildingsReconnu2500-2644 Old Railroad Bed Rd Harvest, AL, 35749, USA - US Congressional District AL5Are builders allowed to leave large construction dumpsters on Huntsville city streets during construction? Wren Homes has multiple dumpsters on the street in the cul-de-sac of Highgrove Heights. No one has moved into the cul-de-sac yet but there are a lot of occupied homes on Highgrove Heights and the garbage trucks and mailman cannot utilize the cul-de-sac because of the dumpsters on the street there (in other words, it's difficult for them to turn around to be able to leave Highgrove Heights). The dumpsters are on the street because the lots are small, but it seems like the builder could have multiple mini dumpsters on the construction site instead of having them in the street. Highgrove Heights is off Old Railroad Bed Road near the corner of Old Railroad Bed and Nick Davis Road. This neighborhood has been annexed into Huntsville city limits.

2404 Basin St Se Huntsville, AL, 35803, USA - HuntsvilleAt night, there is an area of the neighborhood where there is no light, there is no visibility there and it is a concern. A potential unknown or dangerous person, vehicle, animal, etc. could be in this part of the street and be hidden from sight due to the lack of light. Me and the neighbors that are affected by this would like to request that a street light be placed at its location. There is one street light near the circle at the end of the road that I think would work perfectly. The height of it would fit well under the tree branches extending outward, similar to the other street light. It provides light to the road but not necessarily into the homes. I would like to add to the request a preference that it not be too bright, and that it simply serve the purpose of providing visibility to the road for safety concerns as we have had several concerning situations and unlawful activity happen on this street and around the specific area. The location of the requested light is located directly across from the driveway at 2407 Basin St. SE, Huntsville, AL, where the tree is.

2616 Galahad Dr Se Huntsville, AL, 35803, USA - HuntsvilleI would like to request a street light at the end of Galahad Dr. SE, Huntsville, AL 35803 near the house number 2616. At the end of the road, a dead end, there is a large area of woods leading up the mountain. A lot of animals come out of the woods at night and can’t be seen, there is no lighting at the end of the street and it causes a unsafe environment due to the lack of any visibility.

703 Oak Park Dr Ne Huntsville AL 35801, United States - HuntsvilleWiregrass Construction trucks continue to use Oak Park to access Bankhead, despite the signs being placed along Oak Park that prohibit heavy trucks on this road. It is extremely dangerous for them and the surrounding homes in the event they lose traction.

1306 Wells Ave Se Huntsville, AL, 35801, USA - HuntsvilleA landscaping company has been working on cutting a tree down at the house on the corner of Cambridge and Wells and has left all of the tree trunk, branches, etc. in the road at the intersection. It is very dangerous and needs to be hauled away (likely by the company that did the work, as the pieces are too big for city collection) because it forces cars turning onto Cambridge from Wells into the wrong lane, and traffic driving north on Cambridge towards Wells can’t see them coming because the detritus is in the way, blocking their view of cars coming from Wells. This is a major hazard and should be dealt with quickly. Thank you.
