Exiting Laverne drive onto oakwood from the east exit, the tree growth on the southeast corner of the intersection completely blocks visibility of westbound traffic on oakwood which I fear is going to cause a wreck. I’ve tried to contact homeowner unsuccessfully about personally pruning the tree branches to allow for viability. There is some overgrowth on the south side of oakwood on the west side of the intersection as well that is impeding visibility. There’s a turning lane that can be used to exit in a more safe manner, but it’s nearly impossible to tell if West bound traffic could be moving into that space.

Our street was developed 50 years ago with one layer of asphalt. We had a massive leak under the culdesac for years (fixed with a patch last year). I believe that leak lead to the erosion of the drain and road in the photo attached. The hole that is on the right is 8 inches deep, which means when every garbage truck, UPS, FedEx, neighbor makes the turn, one of them will end up with a wheel in a sink hole at some point. With every street in our surrounding neighborhood receiving resurfacing, some even twice in the past few years, I would kindly ask the city to consider helping us as well. It would take less than 6 hours to complete. We have never had anything other than patchworking for our potholes and leaks so we as taxpayers who pay our share for roads would like to see at least a few of our dollars we have paid in for over 50 years be used to help our street. Comcast came into our neighborhood and dug up multiple places in our easement and we’re supposed to replace the sod. It’s been several weeks, no sod and the boxes are still open with wires sticking out everywhere.

Last Friday 4/5/2024, I saw what appeared to be to be a large diameter, black covered, cable hanging down from the pole overhead lines to the ground. It is located on the north side of University Drive and is visible from the exit of the Taco Bell restaurant across the street.

Pavement markers are missing on the roadways and it is difficult and dangerous to drive up and down Bankhead Pkwy, Fearn, and Monte Sano Blvd at night. It is especially dangerous under fog conditions.

Road repaired and no new lines painted on repairs

Several of the speed bumps were removed over 1 year ago for water line replacement and they were never replaced.
Right side if the street is now a speed lane with cars avoiding the soeed bumps on the left side.
Supply trucks,18 wheelers,and cars are speeding down residental street causing a hazzard for resudents and danger for children on the street.
This could be a set up for s lawsuit if someone gets hurt especially a child by a speeding car or vehicle.
There is no police patrol in the medical district so noone to slow traffic down.

Would like to request a traffic light be installed at intersection of Jordan Lane and Commercial Drive. Busy traffic and speeding along with visibility limited causes frequent traffic accidents.

One of the wires (maybe a telecommunication wire, like cable or fiber; maybe something more serious like power) is drooping from the utility poles and hanging near my mailbox at 7907 Charlotte Drive SW.

Fire hydrants throughout Hampton Cove have not been painted for many years and are rusty with peeling paint.
