    What is the point of telling people to call 256-722-7100 for traffic noise if the call doesn't go through, or the option selection doesn't register? Finally got through only to be told there's nothing they can do about vehicle noise. Watched the intersection where HPD is sitting with lights on while vehicles approach light too fast from the west, and I heard at least three obnoxiously loud passanger trucks blow full throttle through the light. There's a crap ton of dump trucks coming through this area as well, taking short cuts to the dump.

    I know HPD is looking at the issue, but I would like a study of the traffic or a dB recorder or number of vehicles through this light. There is a way to address the issue, but passing the buck will resolve nothing.

    Closing a  ticket early morning on first business day after the problem was sent tells me nobody looked at the tennis courts. The response you did give was laughable.  Ive included a screenshot in photos so others can see how ridiculous the response. Who's in charge of park mantance and a form of contact? I'll contact them directly.  See Click Fix has become usuless reporting problems. Whomever is in charge of responses thats trying to armchair quartback problems needs to do their job.

    The curb needs to be shortened up closer to the support beam. I watched today as multiple children coming off the slide stumbled forward and almost ended up with a head injury. For the safety of all kids, please look into this.

    Location is the big lake on the greenway south of Grissom HS. Two guys in a red Mustang fishing at 8am this morning. There is a sign coming into the park that says illegal to drive a motorized vehicle on the trail. Need a park ranger or somebody to patrol here in the mornings.

    The parking lot at Fer Bell needs to be repaired. The entrance to the fields is a low spot where water and mud collects. At a minimum it would be nice to get the lines repainted so people know where to park.

  • John Hunt Park - Huntsville
    For several weekends the side gate near Field 8 at John Hunt has remained locked during soccer games. This is an inconvenience as well as a safety issue as players and families are climbing over the fence to avoid walking around. There is also no access to bathrooms. Last week I witnessed an elderly spectator in distress as there was not a single accessible restroom on site. Surely portable restrooms could be provided during construction. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated by all the soccer families who enjoy the use of John Hunt.

    My previous request from May 24th regarding the repair of the tennis courts at Buchanan Park in English Village was closed pending the city's ongoing evaluation of parks across the city but no outcome was determined? Will the courts be repaired so that our large English Village neighborhood and Southpark neighbors have courts within walking distance for our kids or will courts be built at Patriot Park?

    There is a sign at California Park outside the tennis pickleball courts about playing more tennis Someone apparently kicked it enough to break the zip ties and it was on the ground I put it between the fence and one of the fence posts I think it was attached to the handrail between the courts and the restroom /

    This small access road is now being blocked by eighteen wheelers and box trucks causing drivers in the neighborhood and back road issues. Which will soon lead to accidents because people in their motor vehicles cannot see around the trucks when turning or coming down the opposite side. Three to four eighteen wheelers parked on this road is not okay, I’ve asked the apartment managers and they claim is no one is supposed to be parking on the streets/roads. I would like this issue resolved. They come and park after 6 or 7 in the evening almost every single day

    High grass, weeds, storm damage, gate always closed preventing neighborhood access to park and UAH bike bath into neighborhood. UAH promised city it would maintain access from neighborhood but this has been neglected and closed for months. If UAH is nullifying their community contract then they need to relinquish control of the park back to the city.
