Spillways are more than twice usual size since construction has begun at adjacent property. Concern that movement of earth and rock has congested and disrupted flow from year round riverway. This is filled land that is being built upon, it empties into the inlet across the street. Please address.

Super dangerous intersection that kids have to walk through every day on their way to school. There is an accident here a few times a month. Need a crosswalk or something else to make this turn safer ASAP.
  • 1 Grapevine Rd Gloucester MA 01930, United States - Gloucester

    Very unsafe crosswalk 👎👎👎😘

I live near here and use this crosswalk every day. It's a given that very few people observe the speed limit on Eastern Point Road. As you can imagine some vehicles exiting Grapevine ignore the Stop sign. If those hazards weren't enough, DPW has erected a stop sign in the way of pedestrian access. Further there are weeds and brush to hinder access; and to top it off DPW has erected a street sign in the pedestrian path and some entrepreneurs have placed advertisements to prevent pedestrian access at the proper point. A pedestrian MUST detour into the road in order to cross- an unnecessary and dangerous maneuver.

Just walked through the ramp area and after noticing one missing nut and reporting this last year, I counted 9 missing nuts, and 1 missing bolt and nut. Seems like someone has the wrench and the time to remove nuts.

Fine businesses that allow this amount of trash on their property, this is discusting and most likely a health hazard. Behind 7 Eleven on Maplewood Ave. Gloucester has a trash problem!
  • Lookout Park Governors Hill - Gloucester
I realize this is a duplicate but nothing is being done from the same issue 6 months ago. The sheer amount of dog waste is astounding. It is absolutely everywhere. Complete disgrace. The dog waste bag dispenser is empty yet again and people apparently fail to bring their own bags. There should be multiple visible signage reminding of fines. There are so many children in this neighborhood it is a shame they can’t play here. Also the benches look horrendous. Our city can do better. Disgusting

The Beauport Hotel constantly leaves their Black Earth Compost bins full of food by the rear beach door exit. The bins are left out there for days on end. Wind and animals lift the covers off REPEATEDLY for seagulls and rats to access. Could the board of health please address this as multiple calls to the hotel to rectify the issue has not resulted in any action whatsoever to resolve it. The bins belong where the dumpster is kept not 3 feet from the public beach and fire exit.
