Dangerous invasive black locust tree colony at Good Harbor
Please take steps to eradicate the colony of black locust trees between Good Harbor Beach creek and Nautilus Road. Black locust is a sprawling invasive that could threaten the entire wetland area between the creek and Thacher Road if it spreads. This plant chokes out other species of vegetation, and its stems, bark, and seeds are toxic to animals. The trees are covered in fierce thorns that pedestrians will not be expecting and will undoubtedly result in @#$% and scratches this summer. The roots have obviously already eroded the sidewalk, and the damage will only get worse if the colony is allowed to expand. The whole colony should be torn out.

Tree base has a huge crack and is beginning to lean over the street

i am on a corner lot, hesperus Ave and 17 fuller st. on the hespurus side of my lot there is a tree which needs some attention. there are branches which are stretching over above my porch roof. there is a center meber which looks the be rotting and maybe should be trimmed down with some kind of a cap. there are branches which rub against the power and phone lines. some of the branches lost leaves ealy this year, i am not sure what that means. I did have Mayer tree service come to look at it, and they said i should reach out to the city as it is likely a city tree.
my hope is that some trimming can be done in an attempt to keep and maintain the tree for years to come.

A tree on public land in Lane's Cove is dying. It's branch hangs over my house at 22 Andrews St, Map ID 142.50. The city needs to remove the tree before it falls down.

Tree is completely rotten and infested by carpenter ants, with sawdust along base and ant hols all along trunk. Tree branches keep falling off into road. Luckily no one has been injured, but we are very worried about injury to ourselves, our son, our puppy, neighbors, and our home - 15' off sidewalk.

Dead tree that is rotting and dropping limbs. Tree is within a couple feet of road, leaning over road and intertwined with electrical pole wires.

On the right of way to 350 Magnolia Ave there are dead trees along the power lines. This past weekend one fell and took out the power to my residence and also landed across the train tracks that run parallel to the right of way. It caused an emergency situation where the fire department, national grid, mbta and xfinity had to come out and resolve. It would be nice to have these removed before these trees fall and cause an issue with live wires and the commuter rail once again. This past weekends event was not the first issue with these dead trees this has happened several times prior too.

Resident reports a tree that is rotten at the base of an old oak tree. It's at the bottom of Pinecrest Rd by Magnolia Ave. He says its by 121 Magnolia Ave near a bunch of mail boxes
