Looks like there was work done, and it was filled in with asphalt instead of concrete but it is a tripping hazard.
  • 1238 Bellview St Burlington, Ontario - Burlington
I was parking my vehicle while arriving to work at 1238 Bellview St. A sharp exposed edge on the storm sewer ( i have pictures) slashed my tire. I then received 2 parking tickets while waiting for tow truck to arrive. I was inside the customer's house begining work. The cost of each ticket was $46. I had to pay for tow truck and also replace tire. Can someone please contact me if more information is needed, This safety issue has cost me a lot of money and aggravation. Thank you, Michael McDonald

  • 364 Delaware Avenue Burlington, Ontario - Burlington
Friday, Feb. 23rd city workers were present near 364 Delaware Avenue to repair potholes. There are tons and tons of big potholes from just north of 364 and south to lakeshore. When the workers left many holes were not filled and those that were, were done so terribly, there is a huge huge mess of black fill rocks all over the streets and sidewalks which now will hit and stick to cars, be dragged into houses and the water system. AND THE HOLES ARE MOSTLY PRESENT AGAIN, THE VERY NEXT DAY. I understand that with the time of year the holes can only be temporarily fixed, but if you had someone come to see what was done, it was totally not worth the effort nor money and now a huge mess is left behind. It needs to be cleaned up and redone properly until the street is repaved, which also needs to be done. We pay high taxes here with many new homes going up and the street looks like a dump yard.

The storm sewer cover assembly is sinking into the street. Now at a critical level. Vehicles bottom out when they drive into the pothole area.

Sidewalk is constantly flooded as it at the South end of the park and the water flows from the park to the street. This picture was taken on Halloween trick or treat night. There is no sidewalk on the other side of the street and kids are forced to walk on the road with the cars or wade through 4 inches of water. In the winter it becomes a slushy mess

Hole is close to the curb on south side of road (eastbound). Hole is 8 inches in diameter but exposes an erode area (cavity) beneath the asphalt that is a few square feet in area so this is a small sinkhole event that will occur if someone was to park there.....
