I was personally injured when I walked across it. It is located at the curb of the house 1700 SE 4 Ave. A child or elderly person would be seriously injured by this public hazard. Subject: Public Works Concern: Possible Sinkhole / Car Bumper Hazard (NE 4th Avenue between NE 7th St and NE 6th St)

Good morning team - I hope this message finds you well.
Over the weekend, I noticed a significant dip in the road on NE 4th Ave. between NE 7th and NE 6th streets in the Flagler Village neighborhood. While my car wasn't damaged, I'm concerned that vehicles with lower ground clearance could experience damage to their bumpers if they encounter this depression. If this matter triggers a FixIt FTL ticket number, can I please have that number for our tracking purposes?
Thank you very much, and I look forward to learning more.

    Hello-

I live at the above mentioned address. Over the past year we have had several issues with sinkholes. We have had incompetent work down and it keeps opening. I have now had an open hole right outside my driveway. Many times it’s almost been driven in. Please let me know what you are doing to fix this as soon as possible.

Subject: [EXTERNAL:CAUTION!]- DANGEROUS SINKHOLE THAT HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED - Sink hole NE 11 Ave 5-6th st

    Good Afternoon Mayor Trantalis,

I'm reaching out to you regarding a sink hole on my street, NE 11 Ave 5-6th St (below are pictures), I notified Public Works over two weeks ago. The sinkhole has grown in size, the only action the city has taken is spray painting a circle around the hole. This is a huge safety concern, the street has heavy foot and bicycle activity by children and adults at all times of the day. If someone were to run and trip or ride a bike, scooter or moped over the hole they will likely crash and injure themselves. Sinkholes on 11 Avenue have unfortunately become the norm, after Mancini Development conducted their work on 11th Ave and caused destruction to our street for over a year. Our street has had multiple sinkholes that have developed along a crack (that is growing) down 11th Avenue. The crack runs along the line that Mancini laid underground. There is clearly "underlying" issues along our street where we live and children play. I do not think it is my responsibility to notify and follow-up with the city for life safety issues that should be immediately addressed, and foremost should not be happening. In addition, our street consistently has flooding issues since the project.

Thank you for your time and I hope to receive an update.

    Thank You,

    Kristin Smallwood

Please update me on your findings. I have spoke to an Engineering Head regarding multiple sinkholes on our street within a 3 year period sine Mancini conducted the project on out street. If you follow 11th Ave from 6th street to Broward you can clearly see a crack progressively getting worse overtime exactly over where they laid the line. In addition, if you ask homeowners for 10+ years on our street they will tell you the daily rainstorm floods our street since the project. Something is clearly wrong underground. Who can I contact for this issue?

    Thank You,

    Kristin Smallwood

Good morning this is Kristen Smallwood. I am emailing regarding the beginning of a sinkhole on North E. 11th Ave. between fifth and sixth in front of the home that are under construction. I’ve spoke with you before about previous sinkholes on our street. Clearly something is wrong. Can you please check it out before it gets bigger and someone gets hurt. Our kids right or their bicycles on the street.
