Japanese Stilt grass has killed many peoples lawns in this area. The weed grows rampant in the parks & the park svc refuses to do anything about or even clean up the weeds in their property. It is from these weeds that the seeds spread to homeowners lawns. The MD Agriculture dept tells us to use pre-emergent crab grass product in february to prevent the weeds from growing. You think the MNCPCC would use it to save THEIR property from being taken over by these weeds? NO, so the weeds on their property go to seed and infect MD homeowners' property.
I have lost almost 1/2 of my back (Zoysia grass) yard to the weeds.
The yard borders the (Wheaton), regional park which is all weeds.
The times when a couple park managers came over to look, the main guy said "how do we know that YOUR weeds in your lawn didn't infect the park"? To say the least I was ready to have hubby plant a size 12 shoe where the sun-don't-shine!! So they did NOTHING about the weeds in the park and my lawn has suffered every year since.

USPS has not delivered any mail to my house for a week, and I know I have mail because a tracking notice from an online retailer shows my package has been sitting in the Laurel distribution portal for 6 days.

The plow only cleared one section of the cul-de-sac, leaving the other half stranded 30-40 feet from the cleared area. Neighbors are clearing the street with shovels.

Road is bulging and broken making cars jump into the air damaging them. Needs to be fixed as soon as possible to avoid damaging more cars.

Three lanes exit the Shady Grove parking areas and merge into two on the garage side...
One (the right) lane exits directly onto Redland Road at the light. Many people queue into two lanes there as a courtesy even though the exit was designed for one lane. Issue #1 is that curb demolition is needed along with repaving and repainting the lines to allow two lanes at the exit. That would improve traffic flow and reduce the backup at the light. The backup impedes exit onto Redland Extension when volume is high. That leads to Issue #2 which is the exit at Redland Extension. This exit that was recently upgraded with a pedestrian light. Two left lanes merge into one two exit here. Originally this exit was designed for two lanes to turn left but the road was restriped to force a merger prior to the turn. Many people stay in the middle lane and jump the queue waiting to make the left. This is very unfair to the patient drivers in the queue. This lane should be re-signed so that the middle lane is designated RIGHT TURN ONLY (onto Redlands Road). That would hopefully retard the line jumpers..

They did a good job of clearing a lane, coming through frequently. However, it is a 2-way street and they only cleared one lane, not enough for 2-way traffic. They have declared snow removal "complete" on the street.

Coming off Connecticut Ave North, getting onto the Eastbound Beltway, pothole on the entrance ramp/speedup lane.

In Rockville heading east on Darnestown Road at the intersection with Glenora Lane, there is a pothole forming in the left lane. It appears that this was a pavement patch at one point and is next to the median, making it difficult to avoid if in the left lane.
