Parks, Playground, and Dog Runs PLUS

Back in the Fall someone drove into Lafayette/Webb Park on the grass and left a bunch of tire tracks. Cones and caution tape were put up, but they’ve been there ever since, along with the tire tracks.

Potential safety concern. Hole from drainage equipment open. Just south of baseball field area on sidewalk.

Overgrown Shrubs and bushes all throughout the playground.

The dog run hasn't been properly cleaned. Dogs are getting sick. I use the hose every day but it's not the same as the cleaning the city uses. Mark Wesson doesn't let us get our own enzymes.

Hornets or Wasps Nest on the roof of the Playground equipment. See them swarming around the corners of the roof and two visible nests in some state of construction.

timer for splash pad? instead of having the splash pad run all summer is this a way to get a button & (5min?) timer installed...

Can the park add compost from Community Compost Company and grass/clover seed to the park this spring to help with soil health and the growth of a green lawn? Especially at the west and south quadrants, where there is less trampling but low grass growth. Or why does the City rake all the leaves in the fall, instead of mulching the leaves and leaving them as ground cover for the winter and spring, which acts as a natural fertilizer and helps with moisture retention? The trimmed trees won't solve the soil health problem, and year after year this highly trafficked park is an embarrassing dust bowl.

The electrical outlet is exposed. can this please be repaired?

One of the bolts holding the bridge to the slide on is missing

Are big kids allowed to play balls in the areas of park small toddlers are supposed to play swings andslides? Yesterday one kid hit my 1 year daughter’s head with ball and ran away. I am extremely worried right now.She was playing where she was supposed to play. Also the big kids play the cricket on the other side of the park and I have seen the ball pass through the divider net. Its very unsafe and requires an immediate attention.h
