  • 5132 Telegraph Ave Oakland, CA, 94609, USA - Shafter

Every night, all night, the Logan/Whole Foods building turns up their HVAC system to the LOUDEST speed. This equipment needs adjustments and insulation to lower the noise! The steam pipes and the chillers. This is a nuisance to everyone who lives on this street. This is what it sounded like INSIDE my window at 12 am. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cGqsORtJLjbejFjz_63ME1R4XelHbtsp/view?usp=sharing

Please note you do not have a category for noise ordinance violation.

  • 2187 Magellan Dr Oakland CA 94611, United States - Shepherd Canyon
There is a large amount of debris and soil that slid in a landslide from the backyard of 2187 Magellan Dr. onto the Montclair Railroad Trail (an Oakland park). The contracted retaining wall work did not remove the debris. The debris poses potential safety hazards to trail users in addition to affecting drainage; the debris is loose and eroding, impacting runoff. The soil also allows fire-prone invasive plants to proliferate. The soil, debris and overgrowing vegetation cannot be safely cleared without professional expertise. It is surprising the contracted work didn't clear debris that slid down from the residence.

1901 87th Ave. The concrete yard is covered in dog poop, the poor dogs are stuck in this filthy, feces coated yard and the dog poop is running out onto the sidewalk. It's disgusting and inhumane to the dogs, and unsanitary for kids and neighbors who walk on the sidewalk.
  • 6226 Crown Ave Oakland, California, 94611 - Merriwood
Update on a previous report. It has been over 2 years since this fire. The fence has now been removed and the building is open to any one who wants to check it out...an attractive dangerous nuisance for neighborhood kids. The owners need to clean it up now or the city should do it and bill them. This blight should not be allowed to continue.
