There is a group of trees covered in Ivy. This one is leaning on the wires and out into the public right-of-way, a road that is walked by many kids and families headed to elementary school. There appears to be a serious risk of damage or injury.
(This house was flipped, and the sellers did not resolve/maintain the old growth trees. What they did cut, they left dumped at the edge of the property.)

There are a few trees in this area just off the trail near 168th that look like they’re in poor health. One makes creaky noises and sounds like it’s thinking about falling. Just want to make sure these are on someone’s radar. (One tree was cut down last week-I was surprised that the creaky tree still stands)

I would like this tree removed since it poses a safety hazard to traffic, my property, and for pedestrians.

The tree is leaning into the road, and has gotten worse over the years. Mail trucks have difficulty getting to the mailbox and larger delivery trucks frequently hit the tree. Branches have been torn off by trucks and there are other open gashes from truck strikes. This is a blind corner and the tree forces trucks to drive on the wrong side of the road as they go around the corner. This is a significant safety concern for me living on the corner with small children.

I have previously asked the city to take care of it. After coming out, they said it was in the power lines. The power company notched it over ten years ago and recently confirmed that it is not in the power lines, but rather in the data lines, so it is the responsibility of the city to take care of.

The sidewalk is being torn up by trees at multiple spots on this block. It is hazardous to pedestrians and unnavigable for wheelchairs.

Tree in danger of falling in Twin Ponds park.

On a walk this morning, I noticed this tree on the western boundary trail of the park next to the north pond was leaning dangerously against the fence in the direction of a house. The noise of the tree rubbing on the fence caught my attention, and I hadn’t noticed that before on previous walks. Up close, one can see that the fence is clearly being bent by the pressure from the tree. I believe this is new as I walk the area fairly frequently (a few times a month) but hadn’t noticed before. Also not visible in the photo is the tree canopy—it’s heavily weighted toward the house, with most of the park-side branches removed.

Altogether, I am very concerned that this tree, rooted on Twin Ponds Park land, is in danger of falling on the nearby house. I plan to walk over to the house after sending as it’s not mine, but I hope this message is received and quickly investigated. I’m no tree expert, so I hope I’m wrong!

    Hello,

My neighbor has a large pine that protrudes into the road and another tree that has branches protruding into the road. This makes it hazardous for my children and me to safely walk to the bus or in the neighborhood. I would like to remain anonymous as my neighbor has had disputes with me in the past.

Not sure if this is something you can help with, but over the last few months the tree on the east side of the street has begun to obscure the lamppost shown in the image. That means that the south-bound 347 atop on the west side of the street is in near complete darkness. This results in safety issues as well as makes it difficult for bus drivers to notice riders waiting at that stop. Thanks!

Could you please tell me if the city of shoreline are cutting trees down in the park? Within the last few months Ive noticed freshly cut trees. The are kind limbs and ligs disbursed throughout the park.
Im concerned and worried. My grandparents sold thier land to city for third park. Ive lived hete 54 years and never have i seen so many trees cut down. An axe was even used on some of them.

Another tree down on the connector trail, right next to the one that was recently cleared.
