Stewar Pittman sign is blocking the the view of the road. It is very hard to get to route 2 many accidents and deaths have happened in that area. The sign is located directly across from Polling House road and BLOCKS the view of traffic heading north. Please move the sign. The school bus will not be able to see my little ones and will drive by. THANK Raymond DiSilvestre

    Good afternoon,

This correspondence is NOT related to traffic signs on Monterey Avenue, but it was the closest choice regarding recent automobile related incidents that have occurred on this street.

This past Wednesday night, 10/9/19, between 11:30 p.m. and midnight, a late model orange Ford Mustang did a "burn out" on Monterey Avenue starting in front of 523 Monterey Avenue, and then proceeded north on Monterey at what appeared to be a dangerously high rate of speed. 20 minutes later, the car returned and repeated the process. Shortly thereafter, Mr. David Fields, one of the inhabitants of 523 Monterey Avenue, returned home (he was not present when this incident occurred) and came over to my house to ask my wife and I if we had seen a car do a burn out. I said I did, and that it was an orange Mustang. Mr. Fields then replied that his friend Robbie had just gotten his car out of the shop and wanted to stop by to show him what it could do. I could not get a tag number because the thick smoke from the burning tires obscured visibility.

Last night, 10/12/19, between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., Robbie returned to do the same thing 3 more times and Mr. Fields was home, standing in the street looking on. I came outside for the first incident last night because the noise from the revving engine was tremendously loud. I was unable to get a plate number due to the smoke, but I did notice a nearby neighbor standing on their front porch making a call to, I would presume, the police.

To summarize, a man named Robbie, in a late model orange Ford Mustang has, on 5 separate occasions over the period of 2 nights, driven his vehicle in a dangerous and unlawful manner on a residential street, potentially endangering the lives of unsuspecting motorists traveling on Monterey Avenue during those periods. The skid marks are still clearly visible as I type this.

Mr. Fields may be able to provide additional information regarding these incidents.

    Thank you.

  • 922 Densmore Bay Ct Crofton, MD, 21054, USA - US Congressional District MD3
There is a stop sign on both sides of Densmore Bay and Cooks Bay but there isn’t one on Hearts Bay approaching the intersection. Appears to have been stollen years ago. No one stops and many do not slow down coming into the neighborhood and there have been many near misses with other cars, pedestrians and children playing.
