Linthicum Heights 21090 United States - PumphreyThere is a safety concern at the back corner of one of the large dog enclosures. Our dog escaped from one of the lots. The far back corner has an ill-fitted gate with a large gap big enough for large dogs to fit under and escape. Again this is a safety concern. This was reported 6 months ago, appears it has not been fixed. Until it can be fixed, could we get an interim solution such as a large barrier. Thank you in advance.

Linthicum MD, USA - LinthicumCould an off-leash dog park be added to Arundel Hills Park? This park is not very busy. There are no dog parks in the Glen Burnie area.

Regional/Community ParksAcknowledged705 Monmouth Ave Severna Park, MD, 21146, USA - Severna ParkThe aluminum bleachers on baseball field nearest parking lot have one bench that appears to be disconnected from the base. It might pose a hazard if someone runs into it. Looks like an easy fix. FYI if you are fixing the basketball net, this could be taken care of at same time. Although I understand that players consistently break the nets & then want County to fix them. They have been replaced numerous times this year alone. It is well used but players need to be responsible too.

Safety Issue - 2nd Request
A large tree fell across the walking park and was blocking the path and damaged the fence. This was reported last week. Two county workers came out and spent ten minutes cutting out a two foot section of the tree then left. The cut tree section is now at head level to a person and is hanging over the path which is now extremely dangerous. This is a matter that a supervisor should come out and take a look at to see how this was just left. I would attach a picture but the system will not allow it for some reason.

Sawmill Creek Park - Glen BurnieThere are two lights which are broken and haven't been replaced for a very long time. In addition, it seems as though the lights at other parts of the park are being replaced with LED lights which are far brighter and nicer for when the sun goes down. It would be very good to replace the broken lights and the other lights with LED lights, so that evening/night tennis/pickleball courts are bright enough to see clearly.

Regional/Community ParksAcknowledged1401-1415 Jackson Rd Odenton, MD, 21113, USA - OdentonHi there! I regularly visit Towsers dog park and have notice broken glass routinely after it rains. It seems that as the grass has died in many areas, erosion has exposed broken glass (beer bottles). The glass pieces range from very small to over two inches. Today, I found a bottom of a beer bottle intact. It is common for a some of us regulars to walk around to check for glass. I will often find enough to cover my palm. While I am not sure what could feasibly fix this permanently, but if more grass or sod could be planted it would likely help to prevent injuries.
