This car has been abandoned with a flat tire in the South bound lane of Ransom St all weekend .

This car is routinely parked here for extended periods of time (at least 4 hours already today), blocking the bike lane, crosswalk, and ADA ramp. There are no parking signs present already.

A very long fence was installed yesterday or over this past weekend in front of these apartments, located in Chapel Hill's renowned Historic District. Was prior permission obtained from the Historic District Commission before this fence went up? No "Z" sign was posted in front of the property.

abandoned car - there's an abandoned Saturn in the Homestead aquatic Center parking lot. It is in the back corner near the skatepark. It has been parked for nearly two weeks and has no license plates.

The town parking lot has several very deep potholes in a location where it's difficult to avoid them Could they be filled in please?,

I was visiting a friend at the end of the street and can only say the parking on the street is extremely dangerous for drivers and pedestrians. There are blind curves, so as you navigate the single lane ( as the right lane is all parked cars ) it will only take 1 vehicle coming the opposite direction to cause a head on collision....thus opening the town to litigation as this is a known Hazzard! Pedestrians are also not safe....no sidewalks ! I urge town employees to drive to the end of this road...turn around, head out...at different times of the day...and not during school breaks to truly understand the issue. Id also wonder how a fire truck or ambulance is able to get to the end of this road, and then get turned around ?

Town has recently upgraded the "No Parking In Median" signs (thank you) but there are some individuals who mistakenly believe that they are somehow immune from compliance or prosecution. Citing the applicable ordinances:
Sec. 21-20. - Interference with traffic.
Sec. 21-18. - Driving on median of Barclay Road.
Sec. 21-25. - Parking on median of Barclay Road.
None of these have exemptions, but the apartment owner (or his hired help) regularly violate all three ordinances in an ongoing criminal basis. While I feel sorry for the poor lawn maintenance guys just trying to do their job, that does NOT give them a free pass to violate the law. Their employer knows better and should act accordingly. Please have them put on notice that NO FURTHER VIOLATIONS will be tolerated.

Same car parking in yard in front of same apartment again, w an empty lot next to it. Is there something one is supposed to do other than post these for something to be done?

When team sporting events occur in Homestead Park, participants often park in the No Parking zone on both sides of New Stateside Drive. This creates a dangerous situation where the street is effectively a 1-lane road and would be impassible to a school bus, fire truck, ambulance, or other large service vehicle.

Vehicles even block the fire hydrant there.

This illegal parking often occurs on weekends and after hours on weekdays. I have tried calling the phone number shown on the Town's website for parking enforcement, but am not able to contact a human at these off hours.

Can anything be done? Perhaps marking the pavement along each side with a cross-hatch, bike lane, or other more visual deterrent? Can enforcement personnel visit this site when team sport events are scheduled to ticket and/or tow offenders?
