  • 505 Meadowmont Ln Chapel Hill, NC, 27517, USA - Chapel Hill
Car left in the bike lane on Meadowmont Lane, in the school zone during school drop-off time, causing people on bicycles to have to swerve into the general purpose lane.
This is a recurring problem and has been reported many times.
  • 702-732 N Columbia St Chapel Hill, NC, 27516, USA - Chapel Hill
Both sides of North Columbia, North of Longview, is a no parking area, but since classes resumed, there's frequently cars parked on both sides of the road. The street used to have no Parking stencils on the road all up and down this stretch but they were paved over this summer. Can more stencils and signage be placed, and more enforcement? The problem area very specifically is N/ Columbia between Longview and the rear University Gardens parking lot exit.
  • 422 W Cameron Ave Chapel Hill NC 27516, United States - Chapel Hill
Car consistently parked on the sidewalk, blocking right of way.
  • 214 Hillsborough St Chapel Hill NC 27514, United States - Chapel Hill
Can't safely get out of this driveway 400-500 block of North St needs optic yellow curb paint on both sides of every driveway entrance That way the traffic cop can write tickets Or maybe the better solution is to paint parking spaces in this block rather than have the random parking that's developed over the years that street parking has been allowed Looking forward to seeing how this situation is dealt with
  • Mccauley St Chapel Hill, North Carolina, 27516 - Chapel Hill
Why is it that when a person dialling 911 from McCauley Street, Vance Street, and adjacent streets, is first put through to UNC, rather than Orange County? Most all reasons for my calling 911 in recent years have to do with egregious on-street parking violations, but in a "real" emergency the delay in having to first explain the situation to a UNC operator -- who CANNOT help in the least -- could prove to be a matter of life or death. Cannot the 911 system for our neighborhood be fine-tuned to cut out the UNC operators from our neighborhood 911 calls?
  • 138 Vintage Dr Chapel Hill, NC 27516, USA - Chapel Hill
The residents at 136 Vintage Dr have been repeatedly parking their cars in a way that blocks the ADA ramp. This prevents access to the sidewalk connector to Homestead Park. The neighbors have contacted these residents but they continue to park in the ramp. It would be helpful if the approach to the ramp had painted markings to make it clear that parking is not permitted.
  • Cleland Dr & N Hamilton Rd Chapel Hill, NC, 27517, USA - Chapel Hill
Cars are parked all the way up to the entrance of the Rainbow fields on Cleland, on both sides of the road, making it impossible to see on-coming traffic and difficult to enter the roadway safely. There are ample no parking signs.
  • Flemington Rd & Glen Lennox Rd Chapel Hill, NC, 27517, USA - Chapel Hill
Two parked cars blockign the bike lane, crosswalk, and ADA ramp at Flemington & Glen Lennox Rd
  • Orchard Ln Chapel Hill, NC, 27514, USA - Chapel Hill

  • 391 W Rosemary St Chapel Hill NC 27516, United States - Chapel Hill

  • 405 Ransom St Chapel Hill, NC, 27516, USA - Chapel Hill
Does Bud Matthews have a special pass to allow its trucks to park on Ransom Street, an important UNC hospital access road on which the Town has long prohibited parking on either side? Bud Matthews trucks have been parked in this location almost continuously for the past 3-4 months. Why has the Town turned a blind eye to this obvious safety hazard?
  • N Roberson St & W Rosemary St Chapel Hill, NC, 27516, USA - Chapel Hill
A delivery truck parks here multiple times a week. It blocks the bike lane through the intersection, and also forces vehicles and bike to go around on a blind hill/curve. Drivers and bicyclists can't see easily oncoming traffic when they have to get in the opposite lane to go around the delivery trucks.
