Large portions of the two trees are dead and hanging over the street. One tree is leaning aggressively over the street. This same tree is also causing driveway entrance to crack and break. Both tree are past their age limit and need to be trimmed or cut down before they fall into the street. Anything there is high wind, large sections of the branches come falling down into the street.

Please consider having someone come out and look at them to inspect their age and potential hazard they cause to the area. Trees have bee cut down and replaced in the neighborhood. However these are the last ones standing from the originals planted.

I had a beautiful replacement tree growing in my yard… a replacement from when the city cut down all of our ash trees….as you can see the city was trimming trees and just cut my perfectly fine tree off at the ground. Now it’s ugly!! Why did the do that!!!

Citizen putting in concern about tree lives at 3226 Avondale. Tree is located in the backyard of 906 Searles. Tree is being supported by cable wires. Toledo Edison has confirmed they are not electrical wires. Tree is rotted at the base of tree. Citizen is concerned that tree is going to break and damage both her property (garage) as well as other property in surrounding area

There were two unsecure branches on the tree on city property. With recent winds, one of the branches fell, but there is still another one on the east side of the tree. I am concerned that it will let loose and hit either a person or a parked car.

    Hello,

A beautiful and healthy 100+ year old tree was removed from my yard. When the tree division manager informed me that he was cutting it down he said he would plant three trees in its place. The trees have yet to be planted.

to help with erosion it might be beneficial for tree planting in this area

Last year, Spencer St. was reconstructed, between Woodsdale Av. and Atlantic Av. Along with new sidewalks and ped. ramps. Several trees were removed do to reconstruction. There were new trees (Hawthorns) planted on the southerly side of Spencer, between Woodsdale and Atlantic. Also, new trees were planted on the northerly side of Spencer, between Woodsdale and Wright St. "NO TREES" were replaced or planted on the northerly side of Spencer St., between Wright St. and Atlantic Av. I fail to see why. The conditions in the tree lawn area between Wright and Atlantic are no different than the other areas where new trees were planted, specifically, at the northwest corner and the southwest corner of the intersection, Spencer and Woodsdale. Please take the time to look into my request.................Thank You............Ron Mercer

We would love a new tree to replace the one that was taken in the tornado. I saw a list of address that would be getting them and ours did not make the cut.
If the city does not want to plant one are we able to plant our own ? -thank you!
