Crosswalk not marked other than barely noticeable sign. Regularly used by pedestrians to visit new restaurant and mercer students walking to/from class to avoid college street. Drivers don't slow down or notice the pedestrian crossing sign, instead they regularly exceed the speed limit and make crossing very scary during high traffic and at night.

There are no convenient crosswalks across Georgia Avenue, making it dangerous for students crossing to get to and from the Law School and for visitors going to Coleman Hill. Currently, drivers speed past these areas without watching for pedestrians. A crosswalk with ample signage would increase safety.

The bathrooms by the playground were recently renovated (port-a-potties were provided while renovations were completed), which is awesome! But now they are locked with no port-a-potties or alternative restroom option until at least 12pm when the tennis center opens. When you have young kids and toilet-training toddlers at the park playing in the mornings, it would be great to have a restroom option!

High Accident Area. I just witnessed my 4th car accident since the roads were narrowed along Oglethorpe, because it is now almost impossible to check for inbound/outbound traffic when pulling onto Oglethorpe from the side streets of the housing area located on Oglethorpe. By the time you have pulled up enough to see past parked cars, your almost sitting in the road. Something needs to be done, or accidents are going to continue to happen. This is a very high traffic area due to its location to schools, the hospital, and Mercer. I mentioned studying “speed” but really that’s not the problem (though some is) the issue is visibility.

On the 200 block of Buford place they have painted the street the width of their house 10' into the street

The speed table installed on Ingleside Avenue has been a great help in slowing traffic, but there is a big problem with drivers going around it on both sides. Is there any way to add something to either side that would deter this behavior?

This lights timing still is very off. Sat at a red light for over 5 minutes, forcing cars behind us to go around us in the opposite direction of traffic to make a right onto Riverside Drive. Eventually, we too made a right in order to then turn around just to make our left.

I have asked for speed bumps to be installed at this location at the stop sign on Curry drive as well as a speed bump on Boulevard at that location. NO ONE stops at this sign and people speed up and down this hill all the time. A drunk driver coming UP the hill destroyed trees, Ga Power pole, his car, etc. last NIGHT. HE HAD TO BE GOING very FAST TO DO THE DAMAGE HE DID. That was going UP the hill also!!. They go faster down the hill. Someone is going to be seriously injured at the intersection if something is not done NOW!!!!! It is time for COMMON SENSE to correct this issue. We need speed bumps like the one at Ingliside Avenue on both streets since they also speed down BOULEVARD> You put up speed limit signs and said speed bumps were not warranted BUT people see the speed limit signs you put up telling them how fast they are going and they slow down before getting to them. DO SOMETHING.

Please, please, please fix the timing of the lights at this intersection! The signal for Riverview Road regularly sits at RED for so long that by the time I get the courage to back up on the bridge and take the long way around to the Pierce intersection, there's too many cars behind me to do so. I live on Audubon, and sit at this light every day. Sometimes it seems to work okay, but just when you think everything in your life is perfect and it's been fixed, oh no! It's back to punishing you for believing your day is going to be carefree and happy. That RED light is going to make you question all your life choices from the time you got up out of bed. It's going to mock you for thinking you had such lofty goals as getting your daughter from school, or groceries, or gas. HA! Not today!
Now if the light doesn't change, I just turn right and do a U turn, but some people just run that red light. It's maddening to sit there and wait and wait. I know this has been an ongoing issue because I've lived here for 20 years, and I really really hope it can be fixed. Thank you for your help!

We've requested a speed study and it hasn't happened! We are sick of the super speeders going through Shirley Hills. We need humps and a speed change pronto! People speed 20+ over speed limit DAILY. We have children who can't even safely cross into our own neighborhood park. The people of this neighborhood are willing to assist in making this happen! Please help us. Vines and limbs are hanging low into the road on Jones Street Lane and as you turn right onto College Street the growth is in the street obscuring your view as you pull into traffic.
