    There is a vicious dog (black lab) on the 600 block of N. Main St. This dog's owners were asked to stop taking it to the town dog park and it has bitten one person already. The owner's are NOT careful to keep this dog confined or leashed, so Main St. walkers and neighbors should be warned.

    313 Yellow Poplar Ave. Wake Forest, NC - Wake Forest

    At least 8-10 times per day, U.S. Postal delivery vehicles, including a large box truck, use Yellow Poplar Ave., as a cut thru to Franklin St. A trail of postal vehicles leaves the post office in the morning and then return to the post office in the afternoon. This is a neighborhood with a 25 mph speed limit. These vehicles are exceeding the speed limit and should be using East Holding Ave., a main thoroughfare, to access Franklin St. when leaving and returning from their routes.

    There is no less than 3 streets in the Tyler Run subdivision with the same name Pineview Drive. Neither of the streets is connected to the others. Apparently 2 of the streets were intended to connect at 1 point in time. This I am told by planning will probably never happen due to a sharp drop off plus a stream which is part of the Neuse watershed. Is it possible to have a road name change or at the very least "No Outlet" signs placed on the dead end streets to warn drivers that they are not through roads and prevent the numerous u-turns by cars and delivery trucks in residence driveways? Maybe even updating the town maps would go a long way so the streets don't show connected on GPS systems. I worry how an emergency vehicle would ever find a home in the maze of similarly named roads and improper maps.

    I seem to remember that the town paid quite a bit for the landscaping in the medians and round-a-bouts. These areas will have to now be maintained. The weeds have so taken over the liriope that it will be pulled out when the rye is pulled. I hope this maint. begins soon.
