    Potholes and uneven pavement make this section of Canoe Hill dangerous to cars, school buses, and cyclists. Cars (usually speeding) must weave around holes and cracks as they ascend and descend the hill.

    Shortly after we bought our house on Mariomi Road, a row of orange posts was added on the downstream side of the bridge. The posts are constantly falling over or missing, and are a huge eyesore. We felt tricked--we bought a house near a charming bridge, and then the bridge was made ugly. What is going on, and are the posts temporary?

    89-99 Old Norwalk Rd New Canaan, CT 06840, USA - New Canaan

    Old Norwalk Road bridge has been finished for months. Construction debris has been sitting in Kiwanis Park ALL summer. Includes long pipes, wooden crate and garbage. Orange sign that says "End of Roadwork" has not been removed. Who is responsible?

    The four way stop at Main St., Old Norwalk, White Oak Shade and Farm road should be reconfigured so that the stop points are moved further into the intersection. As configured, the points are far removed from each other, and it can be confusing to drivers, particularly when they can't see other cars stopped at the intersection (e.g., the stop point on Old Norwalk is not visible from the stop point on White Oak Shade road). The stop point on Farm Road is such that drivers have a tendency to move into the intersection ahead of cars stopped on Main Street that have the right of way. This would also improve the safety of pedestrian crossings.
