  • Colchester Ave & Us-2 Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
I know it's tough this time of year but wanted to make sure DPW is aware that there are a lot of potholes forming at the juncture of Riverside/Colchester Ave/Winooski Bridge. Cars (especially those coming from Riverside) are forced to take evasive action to avoid hitting the worst of them in the middle of the intersection.
  • Barrett St & Colchester Ave Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
The red bulb is burnt out on the left traffic light, if you are on Barrett looking towards Colchester Ave/Riverside.
  • 2-98 Barrett St Burlington, VT, 05401, USA - Burlington Electric
Red traffic light on one of the signals facing Barrett is burnt out. Turned right on red so unclear if the whole signal is having issues or just the red light.

Almost all of the "289" signs in the area are missing, on both approaches to 289 from Essex Way. The "East" and "West" are still on the posts, but the actual numerical signs are missing.

140 Grove St Burlington 05401, United States - Burlington Electric
As I’m sure you are aware even a modest rain event causes street ponding/flooding in this area. There is no drain and with the new curbing there is no place for the water to go. This occurs in multiple spots near the park on Grove Street. Last weeks heavy rain made the road nearly impassable at one point.
  • 1 Barrett Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
Not sure if this is possible, but can the signal timing be adjusted at all to give traffic coming from Barrett more than 15 seconds of green? In the evening traffic backs up the whole length of Barrett, onto Grove back to the park. A lot of cars end up cutting through the private driveway to come out on Mill St.
  • 412-414 Roosevelt Highway Colchester, Vermont - Colchester
Heading south on Route 7, the yellow bulb for the traffic light on the right is burnt out.
  • 119-251 Grove Street Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
For the past 5 days there is a mattress on the sidewalk and greenbelt at the SD Ireland property. It was still there as of yesterday (Sept 13th) evening.
  • 223 Vermont 15 Winooski, Vermont - Winooski
There are no lane markings (especially when heading westbound) on Route 15 from East Allen up to the 89 on ramps.

1-17 Kennedy Drive South Burlington, Vermont - Burlington International Airport
With all of the extra traffic on Kennedy Drive due to 116 being closed, traffic turning left from Kennedy onto Williston Road was backed up past Kimball during the p.m. rush. Is it possible to extend the green arrow (protected) turn from Kennedy to Williston Road at least in the evening until 116 reopens?

Eastbound on Route 2 at the 89N off ramp intersection, the far left and far right light bulbs are so faded that you can't see the light color at all. This is true for all 3 phases of the light.
  • 485 Colchester Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
After the light at Barrett street heading north, Colchester Ave seemingly expands to 2 lanes. However Dominos Pizza employees constantly block the right lane by parking their cars at a nearly 90 degree angle to the curb. This can cause huge backups on Barrett during the PM rush if cars turning onto Colchester Ave are blocked from using the second lane. The past few weeks have seen backups from Barrett onto Grove street as only a few cars can turn onto Colchester Ave during each light cycle. Dominos cars should be parking parallel to the curb and not be allowed to block an entire lane of travel.
  • 172 Roosevelt Highway Colchester, Vermont - Colchester
This week there have been huge traffic backups in the morning heading south on 7 at Exit 16. The lights for the far left lane (to get on 89 South) seem out of whack from normal. At no point are both lights green at the 89N off ramp and 89S on ramp. Only small groups of cars are able to move through each segment at a time. In 3 years i've never seen traffic back ups this bad at 7:20 in the morning through there.
  • 487-499 Colchester Avenue Burlington, Vermont - Burlington Electric
The sidewalks and concrete railings along the bridge are in rough shape. I don't know if this is a winooski/burlington issue or Vtrans, but hopefully there are some longer term plans to fix up this main route in the near future.

1140 U.S. Highway 2 South Burlington, Vermont - South Burlington
There is no advanced signage for I89 when traveling westbound on Route 2. Because traffic queues up at the light, and the exit for 89N is right after the light, people have little opportunity to get in the right line if they can't see the sign at the onramp. The intersection at Dorset Street then backs up as cars try to cut into the right lane at the last minute (especially if they are from out of state). Providing an advanced notice JCT89 sign would allow people to get over well before the intersection/on ramp area.

1120 Airport Drive South Burlington, Vermont - Burlington International Airport
For the second time in the past few weeks, the traffic signal for traffic on Airport Drive heading towards Kennedy would not cycle off red (except for the green left arrow to turn onto Williston Road). This lasts for multiple cycles, which backs traffic up past the Airport and causes people to start running the red light in an attempt to cross Williston Road. It occured this morning around 8:25 (2/20)
