    The green walk sign is not appearing when you cross from the north side of Ashby over to the southside at the intersection of Ashby and Colby. You can tell that you can walk because the east west traffic lights are red for the cars, but again no walk sign appears for the pedestrian when crossing.

    Illegal sleeping in vehicle in my neighborhood and parking all day for the past 48 hours in one spot in an RPP zone. I don’t believe these individuals are residents of this zone and they are monopolizing street parking while illegally sleeping in front of my house.     Dangerous crossing. Heading North on Shattuck past Center there is a pathway that appears to be open on the east side of Shattuck. There’s no sign indicating the the path is closed to pedestrian but a construction worker directed me to cross to the west. Was trying to make it to Arine l Pizza. This is a really dangerous situation.

    Still here! Why is the City allowing camping in our parks next to the tor lot in Willard with mattresses and trash? This is not OK. Why has the City still not taken action? Please remove the mattresses and direct the people to the City sanctioned camps or shelters.

    Disgusting 2 mattresses littered with junk and people apparently living in Willard Park with the apparent blessing of the city of Berkeley. Please enforce the no camping law in our City parks. The parks are for the citizens enjoyment and recreation and should not be permitted to be homeless camps. It is right next to a tot lot for God sakes. What is wrong with the City of Berkeley letting individuals live in squalid conditions in our Public Parks? As a citizen and taxpayer I say No!

    Note this is actually at the handball court where Regent Street dead ends into Willard Park. How could this go unreported in unaddressed with the city of Berkeley’s Parks and recreation Department station mere feet away from this disgrace? Do parks and recreation staff even care about the state of the facilities and grounds they oversee? For Shame!

    These meters are not properly programmed. Even though it says “pre-pay before 9 AM”, if you put money in it starts charging you from the time you put the money in instead of starting at 9 AM. For example if I put three hours in at 8:30 AM my ticket is only good until 11:30 AM. If in fact I were pre-paying, it should start at 9 AM, when parking enforcement starts, and end at 12 noon. This is unfair to people because you have to pay more than you should. Please fix.

    Unsafe city of Berkeley truck driver. 5/1/19 1:03pm: As I was just crossing the Shattuck at the intersection with Dwight Way heading west, a white city Ford flatbed truck with directional arrows mounted to the roof if the cab and a trailer attached, practically ran into me and a small robot crossing the street as they were making a right turn. Instead of waiting until I was fully crossed and with the robot heading in the opposite direction in the crosswalk, the city driver forced their way into the crosswalk to make a right turn, almost hitting the robot with the trailer while making the turn. The City vehicle then proceeded driving South in Shattuck. This was aggressive and unsafe driving, the driver clearly needs more training from the city they are going to hurt someone out on the street if they continue driving this way.

    Here is the city councils favorite downtown homeless camp and all the trash that has accumulated around it. Since this homeless camp has been allowed to remain other ones are starting to pop up on other downtown corners.
