  • 6517 Rainbow Ct Raleigh, NC 27612, USA - Raleigh Council District A

The ground along the sidewalk of Lead Mine Road washed away a year ago, and the edge of the sidewalk crumbled, leaving a drop-off where someone could easily fall off and injure themselves. There is a gap between the sidewalk and the ground below it, so the sidewalk could easily continue to crumble further, making the area even more hazardous.

The city checked this area a year ago, but only left some cones and caution tape, which has been there ever since and mostly fallen down. No further attention has been paid.

This caused erosion and a sinkhole next to the sidewalk on the east side of the road. Underground pipes are exposed, and there is a dangerous drop off.
