Car abandoned, been here a week. Dangerous location at intersection of Stamiford/Stanbury.

I was working in the wooded area behind my house when F35s toated overhead. I observed tha wildlife in my area are terrorized by the thunder of F35s overhead. My dogs panic, the birds go silent for quite awhile, and wildlife stations are abandoned. I see no wildlife for long periods after the noise, which disturbs people, too. Like we are in a war zone. Please monitor the noise so the effect on wildlife, the environment, and our quality of life can be assessed.

Some residents in the area met at Birchwood this morning to look over this sidewalk situation after seeing it on SCF #1117227 and #1166910, and hearing about it at NPA. We talked with a man in a wheelchair who said he likes to go to the store but the sidewalk is rough and he "bottoms out" at a cross street. A woman walking with her father who was using a walker said he hit a bad spot opposite the entrance to Starr Farm and fell. While we were looking at that crumbling sidewalk, we noticed that a place where children routinely cross to go to the park needs a marked crossing and Ped Xing sign. This area is would be prime for the walkable designation, with a small investment from the city. We want to encourage people at Birchwood to get fresh air and exercise. We have to get this sidewalk repaired!

City did a great job clearing this area (Island Line Trail, Appletree and Staniford Rds) last winter, but unless it gets regular maintenance spring, summer, and fall, it will soon be overgrown again. Is this Rec Path park land on a regular maintenance schedule?

No action by city. Gas truck in area this morning, asked driver if he had any white paint on the truck, he did, and he tried to cover up the graffiti.

Who do YOU report graffiti to? Is the property owner asked to remove it (in this case it would be BED), or does the city still have a graffiti removal team??

If the city's goal is to remove graffiti fast to send a message, the city is not doing too good. Closing the issue does not mean the problem is FIXed.

In Ethan Allen Park, there are signs for Pinnacle and Parking, but no signs at paths to the Tower. On several occasions when I have been in the park, people have asked how to get up to the tower. Need signs. Also, the commemorative plaque needs a makeover.

Trashy corner on Staniford Rd intersection with Appletree Rd, bike path, and Island Line Trail. Graffiti on the utility boxes which were planted right in the sighline of people driving up from Appletree Point. Unsafe and trashy.
