Front of house grass length not within city ordinance. House is in foreclosure but a mortgage service company. Taxes are paid. NO ROP on property though first floor is occupied (with multiple animals)

Maroon minivan (dodge caravan) HET 8389 older white male driver passing stopped school bus with red lights on and stop sign extended. New Scotland avenue at corner of West Erie - this am at 8"05 am. He was traveling TOWARD the Medical center. No carmera at that intersection.

Is 4 minutes an acceptable time to wait for the light to change to cross New Scotland Avenue at Cardinal after pressing the Cross button??? (corner used for public library )

The sidewalks have not been cleared between the entrance to the plaza and Lia Nissan. I believe this area was cited last year and in fact the TV news stations ran a "shame you piece" on them. Obviously a walkable area . What pressure being applied to these commercial establishments?

The pole that houses the button to make the light change is loose at the ground (maybe it's unscrewed?) The pole is wobbly.

Traveling from Western to Clinton - black/dark blue City of Albaany Van type vehicle in back of me with plate AV3621 following with driver appearing to constantly looking at Screen? device the entire way! No where for me to pull over to let it pass - are the vehicles equipped with something so distracting the employees have to look at this . device appeared to be in dashboard.

this looks almost like a sinkhole - please put a cone or barrier there - day time not so bad but at night drivers and pedestrians might not see it at all thanks

we got new signs - nice large print - but depending on where you are sightlines are blocked by poles - also they are mounted further from NS than other street poles. are we redesiging where we are to look for new street signs? WHY this change???

Just 15 minutes ago I walked from my home to the library - crossing TO the library was no problem. when I attempted to cross back - I was given the walk sign - when I stepped into NS avenue not ONE but TWO suv's decided THEY had the right of way and would not let me cross - they turned into the walkway. I said in a loud voice - "so much for the pedestrian having the right of way" and heard "we had the light" - so there you have it. I would like for the traffic signals to ALL BE RED while the walk sign is lit so we do not have to be bullied by cars turning into us .

The neighborhood STINKS. Last summer I had to live with my doors and windows closed in the evening because SOMEONE or SOMEONES in the cardinal/ van schoick neighborhood (NS to Helderberg) is burning wood in the yard (and tonight it smells like wet wood). who do I get in touch with so that codes can come and look at the back yards to look for these. How about instituting a permit system for them - then we'll know they are "legal" Our lots are 44 feet wide and not very deep - how is there room for a fire pit?.

the red light out for at least a week. there are three traffic signals at this intersection and its the right most light

This property has a pristinely clean driveway (indication of occupancy) but no snow has been removed from the sidewalk . The block (between Van Schoick and Cardinal) has heavy foot traffic - library, school, temple and bus stop). The owners live on Marwood street - if house occupied then a rental? Is the rental on the rental property list also? (both DGS and Zoning please respond!)

There is a pole on the corner of Yates and Partridge with no sign. I believe this was for a stop sign for traffic entering partridge (one way) from Yates (also one way).

the no left turn (onto central) has come loose and is hanging up side down so that it looks like no right turn. sign is there just needs to be re=bolted

The traffic signals have previously been very quick to respond to the pedestrian requests to cross the street thru the button mechanism. Yesterday I experienced quite a bit of delay at both these intersections. Since I was walking with a 4 year old who knows what those buttons did. I didnt dare cross the street without the "white man". However we were at the W erie crossing a good 5 minutes. and then crossed new scotland (with the "white man" ) because the W erie crossing never turned to walk.

Silver crossing button for the crossing "pole" on the Fire station side of New Scotland and cardinal stuck on the IN position. Does not seem to affect crossing (ie. not continually in "walk"mode) but no "give " as in the buttons on the other side of NS. This observed at noon 8/26 Sat

this is the ONLY non owner occupied house on this block. The front yard has not been mowed this season. there is considerable overgrowth on the non-driveway side and the back yard looks like a Jungle. The owner of the home is an attorney in Delmar (I bet his neigbors wouldn't look at this mess long). On Thursday, a member of the city Buildings and codes visited the house for an ROP inspection. If anything was said to the homeowner about mowing this mess, it was ignored. Section 231.90 of the City code says: Residential premises shall be maintained in conformity with the provisions of this code so as to assure the desirable residential character of the property.

This mess is NOT desirable.
